PRINS has the ultimate hype track for your next night out thanks to her latest single, “Savage”.

The rising Ōtautahi-based artist’s fiery track features lively electro-pop beats and playfully confident lyrics, and was created by PRINS to be “an anthem that speaks to everyone.”

“A song that’s not just about feeling good, but about embracing and celebrating who you are. ‘Savage’ is for all those moments you want to feel invincible,” she explains.

The accompanying music video (watch below), directed by Caleb Waiari (Clowmount), showcases PRINS’s background in dance and acting with polished choreography that perfectly matches the high energy atmosphere of the track.

“Savage” joins a slew of new singles from PRINS in 2023, including “Goodbye to the Old Me”, “Love of My Life”, and “Something New”.

Adding to her accomplishments, the pop singer-songwriter recently opened for South Korean rapper Giriboy during his tour across New Zealand and Australia. She also graced the stage at Barcelona’s renowned Primavera Sound earlier this year, where she represented New Zealand alongside Proteins of Magic and Will Swinton on the emerging artists stage.

PRINS – otherwise known as Alannah Prins – first made her debut on the scene with the release of her first EP, LIFE IS BETTER NOW, in 2022. That same year, she performed her first ever stadium show in support of Six60, a feat she hailed as a “very surreal” moment.

You can catch her live in Auckland over the next few weeks when she opens for UK singer-songwriter Caity Baser at The Tuning Fork on October 25th, as well as at the K-Wave K-Pop Festival at The Trusts Arena on November 10th. PRINS also has upcoming summer performances around the country, including Rolling Meadows in Canterbury on December 31st and Synthony in the Domain in Auckland on February 10th.

PRINS’ “Savage” is out now.
