Post Malone and Jelly Roll performed their duet “Losers” for the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. The rappers-turned-Nashville stars first recorded the song for Malone’s country album, F-1 Trillion, released last year.
The performance was broadcast from their live performance in Germany, where Malone wore a Jalen Tolbert Dallas Cowboys jersey and Jelly Roll rocked a black Bass Pro Shops trucker hat. As he bopped around the stage, Jelly threw his fingers up in L-shapes, representing for the titular “Losers” on the track – “the ones like you and the ones like me,” they sang. Fireworks blasted above as the chummy pair wrapped up the song, looking into each other’s eyes before Jelly bowed to Malone and shouted, “Thank you, VMAs!”
The VMAs weren’t the first time the country newbies performed “Losers,” however. This past summer, they treated fans in cities including Orlando, Seattle, and Foxborough, Massachusetts, to the song during stops on Malone’s headlining Big Ass Stadium Tour. The tour wrapped up in San Francisco, where Malone suggested that he and Jelly Roll may hit the road together again in 2026.

“I knew in the bottom of my heart there was only one motherfucker I wanted to do this with,” Malone said of touring with Jelly while onstage in San Francisco. “And I learned as of a couple of days ago we get to go out and do this shit next fucking summer, too, ladies and gentlemen.”
