Western Sydney drill outfit OneFour have something big on the way, announcing the release of their new A$AP Ferg-featuring single, “Say It Again”.

The group’s announcement of the new track comes following a rough year for the group, full of cancelled tours, jailed members, and ongoing police trouble. Arguably one of the most difficult periods ever experienced by the members of the collective, fans have eagerly been awaiting news from the group in regards to their next release.

Speaking to Rolling Stone recently, OneFour member Spenny discussed the topic of new music. “You could say we’ve been, ah, experimenting in the studio, big-time, so there’s gonna be a lot of surprises,” he explained. “Things that you wouldn’t expect us to do here.”

While fans received “Welcome to Prison” only a couple of months ago, OneFour have now given fans a preview of just what else they’ve been working on, with the Mt. Druitt group announcing the impending release of their next single, “Say It Again”.

Described as being “defiant, brash and filled with optimism”, the group shared news of the track on social media ahead of its release on Wednesday, May 6th.

The origins of “Say It Again” date back to earlier this year, when A$AP Ferg reached out to the group during his Australian tour. Co-produced by the UK’s Gotcha and Aussie producer/artist i.amsolo, the track mixes the long-standing hip-hop traditions of Harlem, New York and South London with the energetic vision of Western Sydney’s realest.

With the track and its video being written, recorded, and shot within 24 hours (all on location in Mt Druitt and Chinatown), “Say it Again” serves as another taster of the group’s next chapter, and is set to be one of the biggest hip-hop releases in the country for some time.
