Old Mervs are hitting the road with their Australian and New Zealand tour, following their nomination for Best New Artist at the 2024 Shure Rolling Stone Australia Awards.

The indie rock duo’s ‘How The Fark Are Ya?’ tour will span August and September, starting in New Zealand with shows in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, including a stop at Snow Machine Festival in Queenstown. They’ll then return home for shows in Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart, and Adelaide. Boorloo/Perth three-piece Fool Nelson will join as support for the shows.

The tour will feature Old Merv’s biggest headline show yet in their hometown of Fremantle at the Fremantle Arts Centre on September 14th, with an all-ages special event showcasing more local talent, including Ra Ra Viper, Fool Nelson, Ullah, and Hey So Hungry.

Old Mervs have already had a big year already, completing a regional tour from Geraldton to Torquay, landing at #47 in the triple j Hottest 100 with “Sweetheart”, as well as earning their aforementioned nomination for Best New Artist at this year’s Rolling Stone Australia Awards.

Their sophomore EP, Give It Up, released in August 2023, debuted at #2 on the Australian ARIA Chart and has since amassed over an impressive 4.5 million streams.

Old Mervs’ Give It Up EP is out now.
