Hot off some big wins at last week’s ARIA Awards, Australian producer Ninajirachi has announced her biggest headline tour of the country to date.
In support of her longstanding Dark Crystal series, the Central Coast raised DJ will kick off the run in Sydney next July, followed by stops in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.
Ninajirachi will be joined by local artists, Lucy Bedroque and daine, on the tour.
The announcement comes after what has been an eventful few weeks for the artist. Just days after taking out the SoundMerch Australian Music Prize earlier this month, Ninajirachi won the triple j Album of the Year at the 2025 J Awards with I Love My Computer, as well as the rage and triple j Australian Music Video of the Year category.
At last week’s ARIAs, she won Best Solo Artist, Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist, and Best Independent Release (I Love My Computer).
In a new artist on artist interview, Ninajirachi and daine discussed the rise of electronic music in Australia and finding their sound on the internet.
“I feel like I made my album at the right time, but doing a lot of interviews for the album, [I had] people asking, “Why did it take you so long to make an album?” I know why I took my time and I’m glad I did, but I was wondering if you have any feelings about making your first album and if you had a similar experience of “well, now it’s the time?” Ninajirachi said.
