With just weeks to go until the release of his Heartbreak Weather album, Irish musician Niall Horan has unveiled a number of dates for his “Nice to Meet Ya” tour.

Having shared “Nice to Meet Ya” as the first single from his upcoming second record back in October, the One Direction member followed this new single up with the announcement of a number of US tour dates later in the month.

Scheduled to begin in April, this tour will see Horan keeping busy with 18 dates across North America before wrapping up in May. Now, he’s set to make his first visit to Aussie stages in two years, revealing a trio of local dates earlier today.

Set to kick off in late September, these shows will see Horan visiting Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, armed with tracks from his new album. “I am so excited to bring the ‘Nice to Meet Ya’ Tour to Australia,” he explained. “As you know, it’s one of my favourite countries to visit and the shows and fans are always amazing!”

At this stage, it’s unclear whether Horan has any other plans for his time in Australia, though his excitement to return to our shores mean these shows will likely be some of his biggest yet. “Can’t wait to be back down under soon,” he added. “This is going to be a lot of fun.”

Tickets to the “Nice to Meet Ya” tour go on sale from 2pm local time on Monday March 2, while a Telstra Plus pre-sale begins this Wednesday and runs for 48 hours.
