Mk.gee has announced a run of Australian shows as part of his world tour.
After nearly selling out venues across the U.S, Mk.gee is taking his debut album, Two Star & the Dream Police, around the world.
The 26-year-old New Jersey artist is solidifying his status as a rising star, performing the album across North America, Europe, before finishing in Australia.
The Australian leg kicks off in Brisbane on Tuesday, December 3rd, heads to Sydney on Thursday, December 5th, and concludes in Melbourne on Saturday, December 7th (see full details below).
Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 14 at 10am local time via mk.gee.com.
To the disappointment of Kiwi fans, though, the tour leaves out New Zealand, following a trend of big stars snubbing the country, including upcoming tours by Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo.
To tease his upcoming tour, Mk.gee shared a live video of his performance of “Breakthespell” from one of his sold-out shows at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles (watch below).
The video captures the energy of his live show and has been praised by Billboard as “a must-see for concert lovers.”
Mk.gee’s performances, alongside bandmates Andrew Aged and Zach Sekoff, have received acclaim for their engaging presence, highlighting songs from his debut album, Two Star & the Dream Police. His distinctive guitar sounds are featured prominently on fan favourites like “Candy”, “Are You Looking Up”, and “Alesis”.
Two Star & the Dream Police has received widespread acclaim, including praise from Eric Clapton, who said in a recent interview, “he has found things to do on the guitar that are like nobody else.”
