Fresh from the global success of Netflix reality series Building the Band, rising pop group Midnight Til Morning have today announced their first Australian tour.
The four-piece, formed on the show’s debut season, will play headline dates in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne this November, as part of their debut world tour. The East Coast run kicks off at Sydney’s Liberty Hall on November 20th, followed by Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on November 22nd and Melbourne’s 170 Russell on November 23rd. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 8th via Frontier Touring, with a pre-sale starting on August 6th.
Launched from the final project of the late Liam Payne, Building the Band saw 50 musicians from across the globe form groups based solely on vocal performance, without seeing one another. Midnight Til Morning — comprising of Australians Conor Smith (NSW Central Coast) and Mason Watts (Toowoomba), alongside Americans Shane Appell (New York) and Zach Newbould (Massachusetts) — emerged as one of the breakout acts from the series, which has since become a Top 10 global title on Netflix.
Their debut single, “Bye”, co-written with pop heavyweights Benson Boone, Amy Allen (Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter), and Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa), will be released on August 6th. A music video directed by Josh Harris (Peach PRC, Go-Jo) is also on the way.
Backed by Australian music company Chugg Music (Lime Cordiale, Go-Jo), Midnight Til Morning have quickly built a global fanbase, amassing viral traction on TikTok and streaming platforms. Their live show is being billed as a high-energy, harmony-driven performance that blends storytelling with the group’s natural chemistry.
