Magnum Ice Cream is putting on an unmissable Sydney event: Magnum After Dark.

Taking place at Darlinghurst’s Oxford Hotel on the Thursday, June 17th, Magnum After Dark will be the ultimate celebration of self-expression and pleasure, featuring live performances from Peach PRC, Mia Rodriguez, JamarzOnMarz, and a virtual performance from a very special guest.

Set to be a thrilling night with three Aussie artists gracing the stage, Magnum After Dark is completely free to attend – all you have to do is apply for your place via Rolling Stone Australia.

In addition to live music, Magnum After Dark also promises a ‘create your own Magnum’ bar, a tattoo parlour, a glitterbomb station, an engraving station, among other exciting opportunities on the night.

Featuring flawless pop singer-songwriter Mia Rodriguez, rapper and saxophonist extraordinaire JamarzOnMarz, and the inimitable Peach PRC, the free tickets to Magnum After Dark are expected to go fast.

Only on the scene for a few years, Aussie pop artist Mia Rodriguez is rapidly making a name for herself with over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Originally from Sydney, NSW, she began her career as a star on TikTok, posting cover songs among other content.

Her self-starting fame quickly took off, with her signing to Michael Chugg’s City Pop Records label in 2019. From there, she released her first single “Emotion”, followed by her biggest single to date, “Psycho”, and her latest playlist favourite, “BEAUTIFUL & BITTERSWEET”.

Boasting a fair amount of good beats, with an enthralling voice laid over the top, Mia Rodriguez’ style throws you into the good vibes.

Taking key influences from Nicki Minaj and Kendrick Lamar, JamarzOnMarz is an accomplished rapper and saxophonist who thrives in his Kenyan and Sri Lankan-Tamil heritage.

As an openly gay male rapper, he sees himself as “operating in largely uncharted waters,” as he never had a “queer male rapper to look up to,” so he’s forging a different path; one that is important to the Australian music scene.

At just 22 years old, he’s shared the stage with Solange, while also sharing line-ups with Mallrat, San Cisco, and Marcia Hines. With hits like “Fire Extinguisher” and “Amnesia”, JamarzOnMarz is not only a name to watch, but someone that is a must-see on the stage.

Hailing from Adelaide, SA, Peach PRC is a mesmerising pop singer-songwriter. In mid-2019, she released her debut single “Blondes” before heading to TikTok, and amassing quite a following – a 1.2 million following to be exact.

Only a short year later, Peach PRC released her second single “Colourblind”, drawing inspiration from her synesthesia. 2021 saw her sign with Australia’s Island Records as well as US’ Republic Records, where she’s now brought her latest single “Josh” to the scene.

With her penchant for pink, there’s no missing Peach PRC. She not only lights up the stage with her bright pink hair, but with a massive amount of talent in her arsenal, she commands attention. Magnum After Dark will also make history as Peach PRC’s first ever live performance in Sydney.

Keen to see Mia Rodriguez, JamarzOnMarz, and Peach PRC hit the stage? You can catch them together on Thursday, June 17th at The Oxford Hotel in Darlinghurst, NSW. To #DiscoverYourLayers secure your place at Magnum After Dark apply here.
