Lady Gaga just joined Bad Bunny on stage at the Super Bowl halftime headlining show, to the surprise of many. But the two superstars are fans of each others work — and have a history of supporting one and other publicly. Here’s a complete time of Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny showing their mutual adoration.

May 2020: Bad Bunny Mentions Lady Gaga in His First Rolling Stone Cover Story

Bad Bunny made his first public comments about Lady Gaga during his first Rolling Stone cover story. As Benito discussed the inspiration behind his iconic song and music video for “Yo Perreo Sola,” where he dresses in drag, he explained how he learned about drag culture from a cousin. “He explained the choreography to me. They were all Lady Gaga songs,” Bad Bunny said at the time.

A few months later, Bad Bunny was wearing his Little Monster status on his sleeve, quite literally. The Latin star was spotted voting in the Puerto Rico gubernatorial elections, wearing a Chromatica t-shirt. Of course, Gaga fan accounts relished in the moment. Fans were also quick to point out the fact that it was not Benito’s first moment in Gaga merch. There’s pictures from as far back as 2017 when Bad Bunny wore Joanne t-shirt. In 2021, he also sported Gaga’s “Rain on Me” boots while courtside at a basketball game.

December 2020: Bad Bunny Gushes Over Chromatica

Bad Bunny was vocal about his love for Gaga’s fifth studio album a month later. In an interview, he revealed, “In that moment where I feel sad, it’s Chromatica [by] Lady Gaga,” when asked about what music he turns to when he’s at his lowest. “That album makes me feel more happy. When she dropped that album, I was in a really good moment, enjoying my life. I love that album,” he added.
