KUČKA has announced a deluxe edition of her second album, Can You Hear Me Dreaming?.
Set for release on Wednesday, August 27th via Mushroom Music, the expanded version features bonus tracks and previously unreleased remixes from Kiwi DJ Messie, Asian-American producer Nosaj Thing, Jacques Greene, and other labelmates.
“I love putting out remixes because the turnaround is always so quick,” says KUČKA. “It lets me see what sound palettes my friends and other producers are excited about at that exact moment in time. It’s also an amazing opportunity to work with people that you really respect, when they re-imagine your songs and add their flair, it really feels special.”
Leading the project is the single “Heaven (Messie Remix),” released today. KUČKA adds, “Messie is a super exciting new DJ and producer, so I was thrilled when she agreed to remix ‘Heaven.’ She kept the core DNA of the original but added just the right amount of heat with a subtle Jersey beat.”
Messie says, “It was such an honour to remix ‘Heaven’ for KUČKA, her voice is super unique so it was fun to chop and dive into the layers of her vocals for this track. It was my goal to keep the essence of this track true to itself while putting my own spin on it and I’m really happy with how it turned out and for the trust with it to be coming out as the first single!”
Having worked with artists like Flume and A$AP Rocky, KUČKA’s rise as one of Australia’s leading electronic music stars comes as no surprise.
The Perth-raised, LA-based artist made waves early, sweeping the West Australian Music Industry Awards from 2013 to 2015, and earning an AIR Award nomination for her 2021 debut album, Wrestling.

Her 2024 follow-up, Can You Hear Me Dreaming?, received strong acclaim, including a four-star review from Rolling Stone AU/NZ.
