Kobie Dee is heading to the Isuzu UTE 2026 A-League Grand Final.

The Sydney rapper and artist has been announced as this year’s live entertainment for the final, marking his first time performing at a major national sporting event.

The A-League Grand Final will be played on the weekend of May 23rd-24th, with the location still to be decided.

Today’s announcement follows the release of Dee’s latest single “Aim for the Stars”, out now via Bad Apples Music/Island Records Australia.

The song was chosen as the official sync for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2026 Finals Series campaign running on Paramount+.

“I want people to hear this song and feel like no dream is too big,” Dee says. “Especially young people coming from the same streets I started in. I want them to believe that they can see themselves in these spaces too. For me, ‘Aiming for the Stars’ means taking Maroubra to the world, not leaving it and just telling stories about it.”

“Aim for the Stars” was written by Dee alongside producer NERVE and collaborators WYES, GENE and SMAK.

“When NERVE started the beat, I just went straight in with the lyrics. It was one of those moments where everything flowed and I was able to get everything off my mind,” Dee says.

The connection with the Isuzu UTE A-League 2026 Finals Series reinforces the song’s universal message of ambition and drive, as well as reflecting Indigenous representation across all industries. “It didn’t change how I viewed the song, it solidified it. It’s a song that connects with anyone chasing something, whether that’s in sport, music or anything else,” Dee explains.

“We dominate in sport, but we’re also incredibly creative. There’s so much talent in our communities that could have gone into music or sport.”

Tickets to the A-League Grand Final will be available on Monday, May 18th at 4pm AEST.
