Reactions to his new album, Before I Forget
Every album is a moment in time, you know? I mean, particularly this one, because it was made in such a short span of time and in a confined kind of amount of time. There’s songs on the album that I feel I’ve already grown out of… I think honestly, that’s an awesome way to do it and to feel because it just means, the more perspective you’re gaining or the more your life’s changing.
Reflecting on his global success at such a young age

I think I have the best job in the world, honestly. I really do feel like that. Everything comes with its pros and cons, its ups and its downs.
I mean, growing up in front of people is definitely a weird thing, you know? But I think, just kind of how I look at everything in life, it makes me who I am, right? Like these experiences are all shaping me into whoever I am and whoever I’m gonna continue to become.
More new music in the works
As long as I feel inspired, I’m always going to keep making music, you know? I’m still feeling creative. I’m still feeling like I could make a whole other album right now.
Even when I finished the album, I was still making music. I still made a bunch more songs. So I have a bunch of those. I have plans for the next album.
