Global pop powerhouse Kesha will headline the Australian debut of Mighty Hoopla, the UK’s most iconic celebration of pop culture, when it lands on Bondi Beach, Sydney, on Saturday, February 21st, 2026.

Known for anthemic hits like “Tik Tok”, “We R Who We R”, and “Joyride”, Kesha brings her fearless individuality and riotous stage energy to the glitter-drenched festival’s first-ever Australian edition.

“We’re honoured to be able to bring Mighty Hoopla to the other side of the world” said Mighty Hoopla Co-founder Jamie Tagg. “After Kesha’s incredible headline performance with us in London earlier this year, we knew she was the only artist we wanted to make our Australian debut with.”

The London-born phenomenon is finally making its way down under, promising an explosion of pure joy, fierce performances, and unapologetic pop brilliance, with the festival’s signature mix of music, mischief, and mayhem that’s made it a cult favourite overseas.

Expect a kaleidoscopic lineup of pop icons, drag royalty, DJs, and queer party collectives from both the UK and Australia when the full lineup drops soon.

“Australia has always been my second home, it’s where I found out who I was as a queer man. And in turn has always been part of the Mighty Hoopla family in spirit — you’ve got the best pop fans in the world!” Mighty Hoopla Founder Glyn Fussell said. “To finally bring the Hoopla magic to Sydney is a dream come true. Expect joy, chaos, and the campest day of your life. Our touchdown is a dream come true.”

Since launching in 2016, Mighty Hoopla has become the UK’s biggest pop festival — a glittering utopia celebrating freedom, inclusivity, and the music that moves us. Past lineups have included Nelly Furtado, Sugababes, Years & Years, Steps, Kelly Rowland, TLC, All Saints, and Jessie Ware, to name just a few.
