Kendrick Lamar won big at Super Bowl LIX, and he wins again on the ARIA Charts.

The hip-hop superstar scores a touchdown on the national albums and singles charts, following his next-level halftime spot at Super Bowl LIX, which aired to Australian audiences on Monday, February 10th.

The Los Angeles rapper’s sixth studio album GNX bolts 15-1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, while “Not Like Us,” his Drake diss track which he performed at American football’s showpiece event, charges 27-1 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

Earlier this month, Kendrick emerged triumphant from the Grammy Awards in his hometown, where he collected a night’s best five wins including record and song of the year for “Not Like Us”.

GNX is Lamar’s third LP to lead the ARIA Chart, after logging one week at the penthouse in December 2024. Kendrick also hit the top with his global breakthrough from 2015, To Pimp A Butterfly, and Mr Morale & The Big Steppers in 2022.

K.Dot tops the podium on the latest chart, published Friday, February 14th, ahead of The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow, down 1-2, and Billie Eilish’s platinum-certified Hit Me Hard And Soft, unchanged at #3.

Although her boyfriend Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, was on the losing side at Super Bowl, Taylor Swift has a victory of sorts; the US superstar has the highest new entry on the latest ARIA Chart with Lover – Live From Paris, new at #14.

The collection was recorded at the one-off City of Lover concert in Paris on September 9th, 2019, and was first released as a Valentine’s Day limited-edition vinyl album in February 2023.

Its lofty chart appearance is thanks to a reissue this month on double, heart-shaped vinyl. Of TayTay’s 18 albums that have impacted the national chart, ARIA reports, 13 have gone to #1. Just four have missed out on the top 10.

For the second consecutive week, the Top 50 is devoid of Australian albums.

As “Not Like Us” powers to No. 1 on the singles survey, the top 3 is completed by Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.,” unmoved at No. 2, and Lola Young’s “Messy,” down 1-3.

Australian electronic music superstar Dom Dolla bags the highest debut on the ARIA Singles Chart with “Dreamin,” featuring Daya. A banger that Dom played on his record-setting tour of Australia in 2024, “Dreamin” drops in at #33. “Dreamin” is the only homegrown cut on the ARIA Top 50. The three-time ARIA Award winner this week announced his debut summer residency at HÏ Ibiza.
