Keith Urban has confirmed his Australian tour dates for the ‘High and Alive World Tour’.
The tour kicks off at Newcastle Entertainment Centre on August 13th, 2025, and will make stops in Brisbane, Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Tickets go on sale at 1pm local time, Friday, September 13th. For more details, head to keithurban.com.
These nine arena shows in August 2025, with country star Chase Matthew as the opener, mark Urban’s first Australian concerts since December 2022.
The announcement follows the news of his upcoming album High, which is set to be released on September 20 through EMI Music Australia.
The forthcoming album will track Urban’s “musical journey, intentionally sequenced through themes of what it is to be alive, human connection, cutting loose, hope, nostalgic, shredding solos, straight-up fun, and some personal life revelations.”
“I’ve always been drawn toward the subject of living in the moment, because it’s all there is, and it’s hard to do,” says Urban. “And these days with so much ‘content’ flying at us, it can feel like drinking from a fire hose.”
As for the album title, Urban enjoyed the ambiguity of the word “high.”
“What makes you ‘high’ can mean whatever you want it to mean,” he says. “It might be physical, spiritual, herbal, meditative, chemical or musical, but it’s definitely a place of utopia.
“For me it’s my family, my friends, and this rollercoaster musical journey I’m on. Playing guitar, writing songs and the place where I always feel high – playing live. Every night I get a chance to bring an energy and a release to people.”
The tour will be the first chance for Aussie fans to hear live performances of new tracks from High, including “Wildside,” “Straight Line,” “Go Home W U” featuring Lainey Wilson, and “Messed Up As Me.”
