Katchafire have announced their Australia tour dates for November and December 2024, with shows lined up in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia.
Joining them as a special guest is fellow New Zealander Laughton Kora, with local supports to be confirmed.
The Māori reggae rockers recently dropped their soothing new single “Commit,” which carries a powerful message about human connection, empathy, and peaceful resolutions.
Singer Logan Bell shared that “Commit” is about making a promise to choose life, love, and understanding.
He explained, “This song is about humans making a commitment to each other to choose life, communication, love and understanding, overall. A commitment to treating others how you would like to be treated.
“To have the empathy to look through another’s eyes and come to peaceful resolutions…. Imagine a future where we commit to avoid violence and war, at any cost? If I had one wish, it would be for us all to get along. No matter our indifference! In the words of one of my favourite Bob Marley quotes – “If puss and dog can get together, why can’t we love one another?”
