Jimmy Kimmel is delighted by Donald Trump‘s current lack chill about anything regarding Jeffrey Epstein.
“Trump is not a happy little meal right now,” Kimmel said on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “Every time he gets asked about Jeffrey Epstein, he loses his mind.”
Kimmel explained that the ongoing battle to release the Epstein files has sent Trump off the edge. Yesterday, Congress finally voted to share the files with the public, which seems to be rattling the president. “If anyone thinks he’s going to release all the Epstein files I’ve got a beautiful East Wing of the White House to sell you,” Kimmel noted.
Over the past few days, Trump has been snapping at reporters when asked about Epstein. Kimmel played the now-viral clip of Trump on Air Force One on Friday, when he pointed at a female reporter and told her, “Quiet, piggy.”
“He called her piggy,” Kimmel recounted. “He said ‘Quiet, piggy’ to a reporter and it barely made the news. If a man spoke like that to a female co-worker in a workplace harassment training video, you’d go, ‘Ah, that’s over the top. Nobody would do that.’ If the pilot on Air Force One behaved like the president, he wouldn’t be allowed to fly the plane.”
“That was Friday,” Kimmel continued. “Today, Trump did what most people would do when faced with a scandal that could potentially end his presidency. He welcomed an evil prince to the White House.”
The host described Tuesday’s press event with Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. “This is a guy who gave a green light to the brutal murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a columnist for the Washington Post, who’d been critical of bin Salman’s regime,” Kimmel said. “He was dismembered with a bone saw at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. So naturally, Trump is pulling out all the stops for his trillionaire friend, who also happens to be doing business with Don Jr. and Eric.”

During the press event, Trump berated ABC News White House correspondent Mary Bruce after she asked him about Khashoggi‘s murder. Trump told her she shouldn’t “embarrass” his guest by asking about the murder. “That’s right,” Kimmel said. “How dare you embarrass a man who had a columnist sawed into pieces.”
After Bruce followed up with a question about Epstein, Trump called her a “terrible reporter” and threatened to have ABC’s license taken away. “We have a great commissioner, the chairman, who should look at that,” Trump said.
“I don’t know,” Kimmel responded of Trump’s reference to FCC chairman Brendan Carr, who pressured the network into suspending Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this year. “The last time your FCC guy looked at that, didn’t go so great for you. It really didn’t.”
Kimmel concluded, “Say what you want about the Epstein files, but they’ve kind of brought the country together. We had an almost unanimous vote in Congress today. That hasn’t happened for a long time.”
