Dallas Green is set for a huge 2025.

Having just kicked off a City and Colour Australian tour this week, the Canadian songwriter is then scheduled to come back in March for a run with Alexisonfire, but there’s still more to come.

In a recent interview on The Plug podcast to promote the local shows, Green revealed that a new record from You+Me – a side project with pop superstar Pink (Alecia Moore) – is ready to go.

The duo first teamed in 2014 for debut album, Rose Ave., which was a commercial success, debuting at #1 in Canada, #2 in Australia and #4 in the US.

Green revealed that he and Moore finally finished the second album last year when asked about his upcoming recording plans.

“It’s going to come out at some point. We’ve been recording it over a bunch of years,” he said.

“But I had written some songs recently that we finished recording this year and those are at the top of my mind right now.”

Though he thought the album was meant to stay under wraps for a while longer, Green decided he wanted to share the news after Moore made the surprise announce during a recent charity show.

“She announced it on stage and I was like, ‘Oh, you’re talking about this? I’m gonna talk about it!’”

City and Colour’s Australian tour continues in Sydney this Thursday, followed by stops in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

He was last in the country in 2023, in support of his seventh studio album, The Love Still Held Me Near.
