Iggy Azalea Unveils Cover Art After Teasing New Music with Tinashe

Iggy Azalea is set to drop “DLNW” with Tinashe on August 21st.

Iggy Azalea and Tinashe last collaborated on 2014 track “All Hands on Deck.”

After momentarily stepping out of the spotlight to become a first-time mum to baby Onyx, Mullumbimy-born MC Iggy Azalea is gearing up to make her move back into the music scene with a new single titled “DLNW” with Tinashe.

Teasing a snippet of the upcoming track on Instagram, the rapper said she was “insanely grateful” to have “You” singer-songwriter Tinashe join her on the track, with the two previously collaborating on Tinashe’s 2014 tune “All Hands on Deck.”

“So soooo excited about this one!” Iggy began in the post’s caption. “All hands on deck rmx is one of my favourite moments! So yeah – I’m crazy excited for a round 2 & insanely grateful to have you be a part of this record @tinashenow we made another one for the books.”

Iggy also dropped the song’s official cover art over Instagram, adding that the pair’s new song is “so different” to their last collaborative effort.

“Iggy DLNW cover art is here!!! @tinashenow ate this up. Can’t wait for everyone to hear this song it’s sooooo different to the all hands on deck rmx we did – I can’t wait til fridayyyyy eeeck!”

Back in June, producer J. White Did It, who has worked with the likes of Iggy, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, spoke to Pop Crave about the time and dedication the 30-year-old has been putting into her upcoming single.

“Iggy is definitely working. We got some special things coming,” he said. “I don’t really know as far as a release date for a single, but what I do know is that with me and Iggy, she’s so laser-focused on getting the people something fresh, something new.”

“We had a conversation on where we need to go as far as sound and how she feels,” he continued. “I really, for months now, have been working on the perfect taste for Iggy. She’s one person I know who works really hard, I love her work ethic. She’s with me 12 hours a day, 13, 14 hours a day. And all just all for one song. We’re laser-focused in to create something that’s so amazing.”
