ICEHOUSE will celebrate 40 years of Man of Colours with a national arena tour, performing the landmark album in full for the first time.
The Australian rock veterans have announced six shows set for mid-2027, marking their first headline indoor concert tour in more than 20 years. The run will kick off at Newcastle Entertainment Centre on June 5th, before heading to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, and wrapping up at Perth’s RAC Arena on July 10th. See full dates below.
Tickets will go on sale at 11am on Friday, September 18th, following fan club and PayPal presales from 11am on Wednesday, September 16th, and a TEG Live presale from 11am on Thursday, September 17th. All times are local. See here for details.
For the anniversary shows, the band, who were named the 2025 Rolling Stone Australia Awards Icon, will perform Man of Colours from beginning to end – including several songs they’ve has never previously played live – alongside hits from across their catalogue including “Great Southern Land”, “Hey Little Girl”, “No Promises”, “Don’t Believe Anymore”, “Love in Motion” and “We Can Get Together”.
“The band and I are excited to be celebrating the Man of Colours anniversary with you all. We’ve never played some of the songs from the album so this tour is going to include some firsts for us as well as our fans,” frontman Iva Davies said.
“These seated, indoor shows are going to be different for the band and the audiences too. Compared to the big outdoor shows we’ve mainly been playing over the past 15 years, indoors means we get to play more songs and create an even bigger show for us all.
“These are going to be very, very special shows in celebration of our best-known album, its songs and the fans who’ve made it a part of their lives over the past 40 years. See you there!”

Released on September 21st, 1987, Man of Colours became one of ICEHOUSE’s defining releases. The band’s fifth studio album reached No. 1 in Australia and New Zealand and spent 11 weeks atop the Australian chart, eventually selling more than one million copies.
It also earned them ARIA Awards for Album of the Year and Highest Selling Album and produced some of the group’s biggest singles, including “Crazy”, “Electric Blue”, “My Obsession”, “Nothing Too Serious” and the title track. “Electric Blue” and “Crazy” also crossed over in the US, reaching No. 7 and No. 14 respectively.
The anniversary tour follows more than a decade in which ICEHOUSE have largely focused on outdoor performances. Before next year’s arena run, the band will play Brisbane’s Night at the Parkland on September 18th and Live at the Fleet Steps overlooking Sydney Harbour on September 30th.
Special guests for the 2027 shows will be announced at a later date.
