Human Nature have announced their debut memoir, Only Human: Harmony Through the Hits & Hard Times, set for release on Monday, November 3rd.
Released through Allen & Unwin, the book “tells the part of the story they’ve never quite shared before. For the first time, and written in their own voices, Only Human is an honest reflection on friendship, ambition, family, success and survival – and what it really means to spend more than thirty years growing up together”.
A press release shared on Wednesday reads: “It begins in suburban Western Sydney, where four teenagers harmonised in the music room of an agricultural high school music room at a time when being in a vocal group wasn’t anyone’s idea of cool, landing a record deal from an a cappella audition, and building a career that would take them from school halls to stadiums, television studios to the entertainment capital of the world.
“Along the way, Human Nature enjoyed extraordinary success – including 27 platinum awards, 13 studio albums, four ARIA #1 albums, performances at the Sydney Olympic Games Opening Ceremony before more than a billion viewers worldwide, tours alongside artists like Michael Jackson and Celine Dion, more than 25 Australian tours, performances in over 29 countries, induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame, and more than 2,600 headline shows in Las Vegas – one of the city’s longest-running residencies, and one still running today.”
To celebrate the release, Human Nature will perform two exclusive shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Click here for more details.
