Home Brew will return to Australia for their first headline shows in more than a decade as part of an extensive Australian and New Zealand tour this October and November.
Presented as ‘Home Brew Presents Last Week’, the tour will see the influential Aotearoa hip-hop group perform their celebrated Last Week EP live in full, alongside fan favourites from across their catalogue.
The announcement follows Home Brew’s sold-out performance at Auckland Town Hall in May, where the group brought the much-loved release to the stage.
The tour begins at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Thursday, October 8th, before visiting Brisbane, Sydney and Fremantle. Home Brew will then return to New Zealand for shows in Rotorua, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch, concluding with three consecutive nights at Auckland’s Hollywood Avondale from November 20th-22nd.
Home Brew emerged as one of Aotearoa’s most distinctive hip-hop acts in the 2000s, with band members Tom Scott, Harry ‘Haz Beats’ Huavi, and Lui Gumaka taking Home Brew to prominence after garnering a huge fanbase through their candid takes, catchy rhymes, and polished melodies.
Their self-titled debut album reached number one in New Zealand and has since become a local hip-hop classic. After an extended period between albums, the group returned with Run It Back in 2023, introducing their music to a new generation of listeners.
Mastercard and eligible Westpac New Zealand Mastercard customers will have access to pre-sale tickets from Tuesday, July 28th at 1pm until Thursday, July 30th at 1pm local time.
