With just over a fortnight to go until the release of their new album, Hockey Dad have unveiled a run of rescheduled tour dates.
Originally announced back in early March, Hockey Dad were set to begin their Australian album tour in early June, coinciding with the release of their new album, Brain Candy, on May 29th. Unfortunately, the global COIVD-19 pandemic truly took hold just weeks later, causing both the band’s record and tour to be pushed back.
While Brain Candy is on track to be released on July 31st, the duo have now taken the opportunity to announce a rescheduled run of local tour dates.

“We can’t thank you enough for all of your patience so far with us getting these new dates locked in,” the group wrote on Instagram earlier today. “We miss touring a whole lot and we can’t wait to get back at it.
“Please be assured that all tickets that have already been purchased will remain valid and are honoured for these new shows. Also, if you can’t make the new dates, there will be refunds available at point of purchase.”
Set to begin on April 9th in Sydney, the tour will visit Brisbane, Fremantle, and Adelaide, before wrapping up in Melbourne on April 24th. No tour supports have been announced as yet, though they’re expected to be revealed closer to the opening date.
Meanwhile, Hockey Dad are set to take to the stage later this month and early next, for a pair of drive-in concerts coinciding with the release of their new record.
Hockey Dad’s Brain Candy is set to be released on Friday, July 31st, with pre-orders available now.
