Just days after the release of her comeback single “Mature,” Hilary Duff has announced plans for an intimate series of shows in North America and England that will mark her first live performances in over a decade. She’s called the outing Small Rooms, Big Nerves, and it kicks off Jan. 19 at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. The general-ticket on sale begins Friday.

“It’s happening,” Duff says in a statement. “I’m over the moon to be stepping onstage again. I’ve got some new songs that I can’t wait to share with you and of course some old favorites we can scream together. It’s been a minute, and I’ve missed you. Let’s make some mems.”

Duff’s pop music career began during her years as a teen star on Disney’s Lizzie McGuire, which aired from 2001 to 2004. She scored hits with “So Yesterday,” “With Love,” and “Come Clean.” The last of those was used as the theme song to MTV’s reality show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. Her most recent LP was 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. Since that time, she has focused on her young family and TV and film projects, including Younger, How I Met Your Father, and The Haunting of Sharon Tate. (She also attempted a Lizzie McGuire revival series that never got off the ground.)

Duff returned to music earlier this month with “Mature,” which she co-wrote with her husband, Matthew Koma, and singer-songwriter Madison Love. “’Mature’ is a little conversation that my present self is having with my younger self,” Duff said in a statement. “The two of us are reflecting on a past experience and sending love to each other. It’s a chuckle, a wink, and a sense of being grateful that we are sure-footed in where we landed.”

Also in the works is a docuseries that will take fans behind the scenes of Duff’s musical comeback. “Embracing the ups, downs, and everything in between,” reads a press release, “fans will ride shotgun as she balances raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsals, and preparing to perform onstage for the first time in over a decade.” Sam Wrench — who previously directed Taylor Swift: The Eras Tours and A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter — is spearheading the project.
