Styles will release Kiss All the Time — his first new album since 2022’s Harry’s House, and fourth LP to date — on Friday. He’ll follow up the Manchester show with an appearance on Saturday Night Live on March 14, working double duty for the second time as the host and musical guest. His highly-anticipated Together, Together tour kicks off in Amsterdam on May 16.
In an interview with Runner’s World, Styles discussed marathon running with legendary Japanese novelist Haruki Murakami, as well as Kiss All the Time and the impact Berlin night clubs had on his music. “I wanted to re-create [what] I had on the dance floor, being lost in instrumentation and the musicality,” he said. “It was so immersive, like, this is how I want to feel when I’m onstage, too. I don’t want it to feel like a sermon I’m delivering. I wanted it to feel like, oh, we’re in this music together. Like I’m in it with you.”
