UPDATE (20/1): Harry Styles has today announced that his upcoming tour of Australia has officially been cancelled.
Originally announced back in March of 2020 (just days before restrictions were placed on mass gatherings), Styles’ Love on Tour trek was originally set to see him joined by Mabel for a four-date run of shows.
Unfortunately, the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic meant that these shows had to be postponed, with Styles following things up in 2021 by noting that he still hoped for the shows to take place, though he was unsure when that would be.
Now, Ticketek have explained that “due to the continuing challenges for international touring”, the forthcoming tour is unable to be rescheduled, meaning that all dates have officially been cancelled while organisers work towards plotting new dates.
“To everyone in Australia and New Zealand, I can’t believe it’s been four years. I can’t wait to see you again, but unfortunately it is just not possible at this time,” Styles said in an accompanying statement. “I will be sharing news soon about new shows. I love you all so much. I miss you, and I can’t wait to see you.”
Though it’s unclear when new dates will be announced, current ticketholders are advised they will receive a refund accordingly, and will also receive priority access to purchase tickets to new dates when they are revealed.

He’s one of the world’s most popular and recognised musicians, and now Harry Styles is set to return to Australia this year as part of his global “Love on Tour” jaunt.
Ever since rising to fame as arguably the most visible member of UK pop outfit One Direction, Styles has had a rather impressive career. At just 26, he’s topped charts both in the band and as a solo artist, has received countless awards, and even kicked off his film career in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk.
Above it all though, he’s remained a dedicated musician, touring relentlessly between sessions in the studio. While he released Fine Line back in December, November saw Styles reveal he’ll be taking this new album on tour, announcing dates in the UK and Europe, North America, and South America.
However, while these dates will keep him pretty busy between April and October, Styles has now found time to return back to Australia, with the announcement of some local dates earlier today.
His first Australian shows since 2018, Styles is set to perform massive arena shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth. Meanwhile, support for these shows will come by way of MABEL, the 22-year-old daughter of legendary singer Neneh Cherry and producer Cameron McVey, who not only boasts a majestic voice, but a number of BRIT Awards nominations as well.
Tickets to Styles’ upcoming tour are on sale from 2pm local time on Friday, March 20th, with both American Express Card Members and Live Nation pre-sales beginning the days prior. Read on for full details.
