Gracie Abrams closed out her Lollapalooza set on Thursday evening with Swedish singer-songwriter Robyn to sing the infectious electropop track “Dancing on My Own.”

The pair took the stage together to duet the iconic chorus, “I’m giving it my all/But I’m not the guy you’re taking home/I keep dancing on my own.” The duo performed on the main-stage before Tyler, The Creator, with Abrams blending her The Secret of Us track, “Close To You,” with the cover of Robyn’s 2010 single.

Written with Stockholm producer Patrik Berger, Robyn once said of the track: “I think ‘Dancing on My Own’ is totally from me just being in clubs and going out and dancing a lot, and seeing people and thinking, ‘What are they doing here?’”

Robyn released “Dancing on My Own” as the lead single from her fifth studio album, Body Talk Pt. 1, the first offering from her Body Talk series. Abrams had previously covered the track during her Osheaga Festival performance in 2022. Back in April, she also covered Lorde‘s Melodrama deep cut, “Liability,” during the Auckland, New Zealand, stop on her Secrets of Us world tour.

Earlier this week, Abrams delivered two sold-out shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The artist released her breakout album, The Secret of Us, last year, followed by its successful deluxe version. Abrams launched her largest headlining tour in 2024, selling out three nights at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Now, for her current trek, Abrams has leveled up to sold-out arenas.
