Norwegian alt-pop artist Girl in Red is hitting the road again for her album release tour, and she’s coming to Australia and New Zealand.

Following the success of her sold-out headline dates last year, she’s back to support her new album, I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY!, released this month.

The tour kicks off on July 11th at Centenary in Perth, followed by a performance at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on July 14th. On July 17th, they’ll be at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, then at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on July 21st. The tour concludes with one show in New Zealand on July 23rd at Spark Arena in Auckland.

Pre-sale starts at 10am local time on Friday, April 26th, with tickets available to the general public at 10am local time on Monday, April 29th. Adelaide fans should stay tuned for tour updates, and you can sign up here  to be the first to know.

Girl in Red, the Oslo-based artist Marie Ulven, is known for breakthrough bedroom pop hits like “i wanna be your girlfriend” and “we fell in love in october”.

Her sophomore album, I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY!, was released earlier this month, after opening for Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’. With this album, Ulven aimed to elevate girl in red into something more ambitious, and more exciting, and more idea-driven,” as she puts it.

The past five years have been so insane, and that I’ve been given this opportunity is insane,” Ulven says. “But I think what’s really hitting me now is that I need to pursue music fully, and that’s something I want to do with this record. I just want to go all in on girl in red in 2024. I’m at a point where I’m willing to fly.”

The album includes the lead single “Too Much”, which Ulven recently performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
