Georgia Lines has announced two New Zealand shows to celebrate her new EP, The Guest House, out Friday, August 29th.
The release tour starts on Friday, August 29th at Totara Street in Tauranga and continues to The Hollywood Avondale in Auckland on Saturday, August 30th. Tickets are on sale now at georgialinesmusic.com.
Joining Georgia on both dates are South African–born Auckland-based R&B/neo-soul artist Tusekah, along with best friends and musical duo Aisha and Bebe.
Fans have already had a taste of The Guest House with recent singles“Wonderful Life” and “Julia”, both co-written and produced by British artist Matt Hales (Aqualung). The latter came with a video was filmed at a farmhouse in Manawatū, on New Zealand’s lower North Island.
“It’s simple, fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously, just like the song. There’s no big narrative or elaborate storyline, it just really leans into performance, letting the personality of the song be the main character,” said Lines.
Lines added about The Guest House: “I’m so deeply proud of this project Matt and I made together. It’s honest, it’s human, it’s fun, and it feels like the most perfect next step after the album. These songs hold so much of where I am right now, both personally and creatively.”
Lines has started 2025 on a high, earning four nominations at this year’s Aotearoa Music Awards, including the coveted Album of the Year, and Single of the Year.
