Georgia Lines is revisiting one of the biggest nights of her career so far with the release of Live at the Civic.
The new album arrives today via Bandcamp.
It captures Lines’ headline performance at Auckland’s Civic Theatre during the Auckland Live Cabaret Festival on Sunday, June 15th, 2025. The 10-track collection features cuts from across her catalogue, backed by new arrangements and musicians from the Auckland Philharmonia.
Live at the Civic brings together every chapter of her journey so far. The album includes fan favourites from her early EPs, tracks from her acclaimed debut album The Rose of Jericho, tracks from her 2025 EP The Guest House, as well as a special appearance from TEEKS on their duet, “Not By Your Side”.
For Lines, the show remains a defining moment of her career.
“This show was one of the most special nights of my career so far, and I know it’ll forever be one that I look back on with so much pride,” she says. “To stand on the stage at The Civic surrounded by incredible musicians and some of my favourite people, and play these songs to a room full of people who were so deeply with us every moment of the show, was something I’ll never forget.”

The performance drew praise from fans and critics alike. Red Raven called it “one of the most emotionally arresting and creatively curated live shows seen in this part of the world in years”. 13th Floor described it as “a magical night,” while Tearaway Magazine wrote that audiences experiences “everything they could have wished for”.
“We spent such a long time shaping and curating this night to feel really special, and I think you could feel that energy in the room,” Lines adds. “More than anything, we just wanted to capture the show exactly as it felt that night.”
The release adds another milestone to a remarkable run for the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland-born artist. The Rose of Jericho debuted at No. 1 in New Zealand and earned six Aotearoa Music Award nominations. Follow-up EP single “Julia” spent 10 consecutive weeks in the New Zealand Radio Airplay Top 10.

Rolling Stone AU/NZ previously noted that “no one writes a pop ballad quite like Georgia Lines,” praising her “emotive, piano-led pop” and songwriting ability.
Now based in Nashville, Lines is writing her second album alongside Grammy and Ivor Novello Award-winning producer Matt Hales. Before that next chapter arrives, Live at the Civic offers a record of a night that helped define the first phase of her career.
Today’s release comes after another busy year for Lines.
Alongside her own music, she recently wrapped the fifth season of INTROS, her Rolling Stone AU/NZ-hosted interview series that shines a light on emerging female and non-binary artists from Aotearoa New Zealand. Across the series, Lines sits down with rising musicians to discuss songwriting, creativity, and their journeys through the industry.
