Eric Church is finally heading Down Under for his first-ever Australian headline tour, with two arena shows locked in for March 2027.
The 11-time Grammy nominee will perform at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, March 13th, before heading to Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on Tuesday, March 16th. He’ll be joined by fellow country star Parker McCollum, who will also be making his Australian debut. The shows will come ahead of Church’s headline slot at CMC Rocks QLD on March 20th, as the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary.
“Australia, we heard you, and we’re on our way,” Church said. “It’s been a long time coming, and we’re damn excited to finally bring this show to you. We’re gonna pack as much as we can into these nights, so come early, stay late and let’s make up for lost time.”
Tickets will go on sale at 12pm on Thursday, October 1st, following a Church Choir presale at 11am on Wednesday, September 30th. All times are local. Sign up for presale here.
His long-awaited Australian arrival has been nearly two decades in the making. CMC Rocks QLD’s Festival Director Jeremy Dylan revealed that the singer had been on their bucket list “for almost twenty years”.
“We are certain the Chief will raise the proverbial roof with his legendary live show,” Dylan said last week.
Church’s Australian dates follow the release of his Grammy-nominated 2025 album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, which features “Darkest Hour”. Released in 2024, the song saw Church pledge all of his publishing royalties to support recovery efforts in his home state of North Carolina following Hurricane Helene.
