Tāmaki Makaurau’s Earth Tongue are hitting the road for a national tour this April.

The dynamic fuzz rock duo, featuring guitarist Gussie Larkin (Mermaidens) and drummer Ezra Simons (Soft Bait), is gearing up for a massive 2024.

They’re dropping their hotly anticipated second album, Great Haunting, on June 14th via LA’s In the Red Records (whose roster includes Thee Oh Sees, Fuzz, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and The Linda Lindas), following their recent support slot for none other than US rock titans Queens of the Stone Age at Spark Arena.

But that’s not all: the restless rock duo are taking their talents across the pond for their very first US gig at Austin’s iconic SXSW music conference, and they’re also set to embark on a staggering 40-date tour across Europe.

Before they conquer the rest of the world, Earth Tongue are making sure to spread some love to their home country fans in Aotearoa. They’ll be hitting all four major cities – Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington, and Auckland – in April (see full dates below). Tickets are on sale now via the band’s official website.

And with the electrifying guitar riffs of their scorching debut single, “Bodies Dissolve Tonight!”, coupled with the spooky vibes of their tour poster, these upcoming gigs are bound to be explosive and tickets snapped up all too fast.

Excitedly sharing their plans on Instagram, Earth Tongue teased, “We’re pulling out all the stops to make this a string of super special, extra spooky shows. Our Dunedin gig will be at the legendary backyard festival Feastock.”
