Just days before they were set to hit the road for a national album tour, DZ Deathrays have announced that they’ve been forced to postpone their plans somewhat, announcing rescheduled dates for their upcoming trek.
Announcing their Positive Rising: Part 2 tour in support of their recently-released fifth album back in June, the tour was set to see the group kick things off on Friday, September 3rd, with tour dates scheduled across the country. However, as COVID closures continue to affect the majority of the country, DZ Deathrays have now revealed that that their forthcoming tour will still go ahead, only six months later than first planned.
Announcing new dates today, the new itinerary will see the group kicking things off in Newcastle on March 11th, with new shows added for Sydney, Brisbane, Byron Bay, and Melbourne. Unfortunately, due to factors outside of their control, the group have been forced to cancel their previously-planned shows in Perth, Margaret River, and the Sunshine Coast, but have urged fans to stay tuned for further updates.
Previously-purchased tickets to the rescheduled shows remain valid for the new dates, while tickets to all dates are on sale now via the band’s website, with full details available below.
