After a relatively quiet summer, Drake has reemerged with three new songs premiered on a mysterious burner Instagram account @plottttwistttttt. Fans noticed that Drake followed the then-private account several months ago and the account’s description reads: “100 Gigs for your headtop.”

The account provides a link to a website, which is filled with song clips going back several months, displaying something of a mood board, and today, Aug. 6, Drake posted the account to his official page’s story, pointing to three new reels “It’s Up,” “Blue Green Red,” and “Housekeeping Knows.”

The first of the trio, “It’s Up,” appears to feature Young Thug and frequent Drake collaborator 21 Savage. Latto makes an appearance on the Gordo-produced “Housekeeping Knows.”

The songs are the first new releases from Drake since Kendrick Lamar’s chart-topping diss “Not Like Us.” On that song, Kendrick levied the claim that Drake’s relationship with Atlanta artists was one of exploitation. Here, Drake collaborates with 21 and Young Thug, which would appear to challenge the claims made in “Not Like Us.”

Last weekend, Drake appeared at PartyNextDoor’s Toronto tour stop to announce a collaborative project between the two set to drop this fall. With this new set of tracks, it appears Drake might be planning to roll out a separate project in the meantime.
