Dom Dolla’s 2025 just keeps getting hotter. Fresh off being named Australia’s top touring artist of the year, he’s now turning his attention to the clubbing capital of the world – Ibiza.
The superstar DJ and producer (aka Dominic Matheson) has just scored his debut summer residency at HÏ Ibiza, officially the world’s #1 nightclub.
Running from July 2nd to September 3rd, Dolla’s 10-week residency will have him dropping his high-energy house anthems and global hits in the HÏ Ibiza Theatre.
Reflecting on the opportunity, Dolla said:“I’ve spent the last few summers in Ibiza performing at various venues across the island, I was repeatedly drawn back to Hï Ibiza. It’s an honour to be asked to host my own residency at such an iconic venue and to now call it home, I’ll see you all on Wednesday :)”
Yann Pissenem, Owner, Founder & CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment added, “Dom Dolla is one of the most exciting artists today. His energy, sound, and vision make him a perfect fit for Hï Ibiza, and we are delighted to welcome him for his debut residency. With an innate ability to command the dancefloor, he is destined to make Wednesday nights at Hï Ibiza’s Theatre truly unforgettable”
Dolla’s rise in 2024 didn’t stop at Ibiza. The Los Angeles-based artist set a new touring record by selling over 170,000 tickets during his national tour, and was crowned the top-ranked Aussie act on Tixel’s “Hottest 100” live events tally for 2024.
Following his record-breaking four-city tour, Dolla landed at #6 on the “Hottest 100” events list, marking the only Australian artist to break the top 10.
As Nicholas Greco, co-founder of Untitled Group, said, “This was a record-breaking moment not just for Dom, but for the entire Australian electronic scene.”
On top of his touring success, Dolla continues to dominate the awards season. He’s the reigning ARIA champion for Best Dance/Electronic Release, winning for the past two years with “Saving Up” and his collaboration with MK, “Rhyme Dust.” Dom’s “Saving Up” was also nominated for APRA Song of the Year, while his banger “girl$” made it to #7 on triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown for 2024.
