Doja Cat joined Jimmy Fallon behind the desk at The Tonight Show last night as co-host. The singer took part in several segments of the late-night show, including the opening monologue and a round of “Song Scramble” alongside Fallon.
Doja Cat stepped out midway through the monologue with Questlove to reenact a scene from The Real Housewives of Miami. She then took the stage with Fallon to read a series of hashtags.
During her appearance, Doja Cat sat down for an interview with Fallon to discuss her new album, Vie, and her love of Fortnite. She explained of the LP’s title, “It came from a series of different wordplay kind of things happening. This is my fifth album, so five is a Roman numeral V. And then I was like, ‘That’s not enough for me,’ and so I wanted it to be, like, a French word for ‘life.’” Doja also took the opportunity to showcase her favorite ’80s dance move.
Elsewhere during the late-night show, Doja played a round of “Song Scramble,” which saw her performing Soulja Boy’s “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” to the melody of John Legend’s “All of Me.”
Doja Cat released Vie, an eighties-inspired album, last week. To support the album, the rapper recently unveiled an extensive 50-date international for the Tour Ma Vie World Tour, heading to North America, South America, and Europe in 2026.
The North American leg of the tour will kick off in October 2026 with an opening show in Detroit. Doja Cat will perform in Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Houston, Orlando, Atlanta, Toronto, Baltimore, and more. The tour will come to a close with a grand finale in New York with a headlining performance at Madison Square Garden.
