Having released “Keep Climbing” as the lead single from her forthcoming sixth studio album, Australian music icon Delta Goodrem has revealed a run of headline tour dates set to take place next year.

Goodrem’s last headline tour of the country took place back in 2016, following the release of her fifth album, Wings of the Wild. While the tour itself helped Goodrem become the highest-selling Australian touring artist of the year, the ensuing years saw the musician focusing her attention to coaching on The Voice, and appearing in the title role of the Olivia Newton-John: Hopelessly Devoted to You biopic.

Now, Goodrem has revealed she will once again be hitting the road next year, beginning her Bridge Over Troubled Dreams in April of 2021.

“There’s nothing like being on tour and being with people face to face and to share in the magic of live music,” Goodrem explained in a statement. “Nothing gets me more excited than creating a world for everyone to come to.

“Visually, I love to make sure a tour represents the energy of what this new album embodies. There are going to be incredible musical moments in bringing to life the surprise elements of this new album and all of the favorites from my previous records. Anyone who has been to my shows knows that I like to have a lot of fun and this record and tour is no different.

“I know many people are going through challenging times right now; come next year I want to invigorate and empower everybody in the room to have the best night of their lives and we’ll sing and dance through it all.”

Goodrem’s tour begins in April of 2021 and continues into early May. A Fan Club pre-sale is currently underway, while a Telstra Plus pre-sale begins on Wednesday before tickets are on sale to the general public on Friday.

$1 from every ticket sold is set to be donated to the Delta Goodrem Foundation, which partners with Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital to help fund medical research into blood cancers and auto-immune disease.
