Dan Sultan Calls New Album ‘Little Miracles’ His ‘Greatest Work to Date’

Dan Sultan releases his new album ‘Little Miracles’, written and recorded in under three weeks with acclaimed UK producer Guy Chambers

Dan Sultan has never been one to shy away from wearing his heart on his sleeve, but with the release of his new album, Little Miracles, the acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter believes he’s reached a new creative high.

Released today (October 23rd) via Mushroom Music, Little Miracles sees Sultan join forces with celebrated British songwriter and producer Guy Chambers, best known for his work with Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, and Tina Turner.

Written and recorded in London in less than three weeks, the album emerged from an unusually intense creative process that pushed Sultan to embrace spontaneity, trust his instincts, and explore some of his most personal material yet.

The result is a ten-track collection that moves through themes of love, forgiveness, reflection, and finding meaning in life’s unexpected moments.

“Little Miracles is truly magical,” Sultan said. “The way the stars aligned for my collaborators and I on this beautiful album is something I’ll always cherish. It is lightning in a bottle and I’ve made my greatest work to date.”

For Sultan, whose career has already delivered seven ARIA Awards and a string of critically acclaimed releases, the experience represented more than another chapter in his discography.

“Finding new heights in my creativity and artistry is a blessing,” he continued. “I’ve been able to fulfil my Artistic Identity with the making of Little Miracles in one of my favourite cities (London) and with some of the world’s finest artists and the affirmations that come with all of that.”

Central to the record was Sultan’s creative connection with Chambers, whose extensive songwriting credentials have made him one of British pop music’s most recognisable collaborators.

The pair found common ground quickly, building an album in a matter of weeks rather than the months or years often associated with a full-length release.

“I found a co-writer who is pretty much on my level,” Chambers said. “I don’t often find someone who I really click and connect with, that doesn’t happen very often.”

Sultan echoed that sentiment, describing their partnership as something particularly significant.

“The connection between my dear friend, cowriter and producer Guy Chambers and I is something very special and Little Miracles is a watershed moment in my life.”

The album features previously released singles “There’s a River”, “Needing Love”, “Forgiveness”, and “ATLAS”, alongside the newly-unveiled “Can’t Be For Nothing”, which arrives with an accompanying video.

To celebrate the release, Sultan is heading out for a series of intimate, stripped-back Victorian performances, beginning tonight at Archies Creek Hotel before stops at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Ballarat on Saturday (October 24th) and Church in Geelong on Sunday (October 25th).

All three shows have sold out, with an additional Melbourne performance scheduled for The Evelyn in Fitzroy on Tuesday, October 27th.
