As the first round of physical live shows for Coopers’ Live, Loud and Local series come to a close, a new round of dates has now been announced, with the likes of Client Liaison, Baker Boy, and Birds Of Tokyo all set to perform in the coming months.

While the original Live, Loud and Local series was announced back in April of 2020 as a way to ensure that both venues and music-lovers weren’t kept in the dark during 2020, music-lovers were treated to virtual live shows from the likes of Illy, The Living End, Jon Stevens, and Ocean Alley over a period of months.

Late last year, the series announced its return, this time with physical live shows set to take place. These shows kicked off just last month, with Crooked Colours taking to the stage at Perth’s Hotel Rottnest, while The Rubens descended upon Selina’s in Sydney earlier this month. In just over a week, Bad//Dreems wrap up the first trio of gigs with a show at Adelaide’s Bridgeway Hotel, before Ball Park Music take over Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall in early March.

Now, more shows have been announced, with Client Liaison and Baker Boy set to appear in Melbourne, with shows at The Tote and The Curtin on March 11th and 18th, respectively. Meanwhile, Hotel Rottnest will once again play host to a Coopers Live, Loud and Local set, with Birds of Tokyo performing on April 11th.

In a statement released alongside the announcement of the shows, Melanie Cooper, Coopers Brewery Director and fifth generation family member, explained that the brewery wanted to continue to expand upon the momentum generated by the initial Live, Loud and Local series, which helped to become the country’s biggest “virtual pub experience” during the national lockdown.

“It’s been a really challenging time for venues, musicians and patrons,” Cooper explained. “Live music is an essential part of our culture as is heading to the local for a social drink with friends. It’s something we’ve all missed.

“We’re putting together a great series of gigs that will allow fans the chance to see their favourite bands perform live again and support local venues in a socially responsible way.”
