The internet has found its latest obsession in Tame Impala’s “Dracula” remix with Blackpink’s Jennie – and it’s taking on a life of its own, evolving into a full-blown TikTok trend.
The remix was released in February and has since gone completely viral. On TikTok alone, over 545,000 videos have been soundtracked by it.
Celebrities including Bryan Cranston, the Pussycat Dolls, Lisa Rinna, Laufey, Eric Winter, and more have jumped on the trend. Even Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and Jennie got in on the action themselves. Check out some of the best takes below.
Fans had been speculating about a Tame Impala and Jennie collaboration for days prior to the release of “Dracula”. Clues included a subtle edit to the original music video description on YouTube, where a line previously reading “My friends are saying ‘shut up Kevin just get in the car’” was changed to replace Parker’s name with Jennie’s.
Jennie performed “Dracula” for the first time live at Hong Kong’s Complex Live music festival last month. The Blackpink singer took the stage at the AsiaWorld-Expo for a 10-song solo set that also focused on tracks from her album Ruby.
Released in September 2025 as part of Tame Impala’s fifth studio album, Deadbeat, “Dracula” quickly became one of the band’s standout tracks. The disco-tinged, electropop single not only marked Tame Impala’s debut on the Billboard Hot 100 but also secured a high spot in triple j’s Hottest 100 for 2025, coming in at number three.
Tame Impala will take Deadbeat on tour across Australia in October, kicking off in Brisbane. They’ll be supported by ARIA-winning electronic artist and producer Ninajirachi at all shows.
