Brad Cox is back with a brand new single, “Everything I’ve Got.”
The country music star-on-the-rise says this one’s for anyone who’s ever been wronged.
“’Everything I’ve Got’ – ever been done wrong ? F****d off? This song is for you,” he explains. “This song was bred out of necessity. Like I couldn’t write another song until it [sic] got this one off my chest. It’s a bit of a new era and a new sound and I’m pumped about all of it.”
The track kicks off a new chapter for the ARIA-nominated and Golden Guitar-winning artist, now signed with Warner Music Australia.
Speaking about the signing, Cox says: “Signing this new record deal with Warner Music feels like home. I feel like things are only getting better and better the more I get to work with this incredible crew. I feel like I’m understood in my vision for this project and supported with means to make the dreams happen. I’m thankful for the belief I’ve been shown and am humbled to have landed here at Warner Music for the next chapter. Feels incredibly right.”
Dan Rosen, president of Warner Music Australasia, adds:“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Brad Cox into the Warner Music family and are delighted that Brad has entrusted us with the next chapter of his career. Brad’s genuine authenticity, admirable work ethic and undeniable talent has already captured the hearts of fans around Australia and we can’t wait to help take his music to more fans at home and around the world.
Last month, Cox announced his biggest tour yet – the ‘Everything I’ve Got Tour’. Hitting the road in his fully prepped trailer, Brad will kick things off on October 17th in Canberra, followed by stops in Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne, Rockhampton, and Brisbane.
Talking about the tour, Cox says, “After months working on this show, I promise it will be unlike any other Brad Cox show you’ve seen before… and all your favourite parts at the same time.”
“Brad Cox has been a notable figure in country since his self-titled debut album dropped in 2018, but he took things up a notch on his third album, Acres, a powerful storytelling collection that remained faithful to country while also holding crossover appeal,” we wrote.
