Blusher have dropped a new single, adding to the buzz around their upcoming headline tour.

Titled “Overglow”, the upbeat electro-pop track captures the thrill of infatuation. The globetrotting single started in Melbourne, evolved during their US tour, was mixed in London, and features a visualiser shot in Tokyo.

“We channelled the feeling of our first crushes, a shimmering Tokyo skyline, and Britney Spears riding a motorbike through the sky in the Toxic video,” Blusher share.

“It’s done a whole lap of the world with us, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it. We hope it leaves people radiating with energy and inspires someone to yell their crush confession over the music on the dancefloor.”

Blusher will headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne this December (see below), with their debut London show taking place this week.

The trio recently performed at London Pride in Leicester Square and at BST Hyde Park with Kylie Minogue headlining. They’ll also appear at Latitude Festival and host DJ sets across London later this month.

“Overglow” follows their recent singles “24 Hours in Paris”, “Accelerator”, and “Rave Angel”, marking their first new music since their debut EP Should We Go Dance? in 2023.

Blusher recently featured in Rolling Stone AU/NZ‘s ‘Future of Music’ series, chosen as one of 25 Australian and New Zealand artists tipped for their global breakthrough moment.

“The Melbourne pop trio pump out addictive anthems one after another, luring you to the dancefloor without hesitation. They place female friendship and joy at the heart of their infectious songs, and their fun-focused approach refused to take music too seriously,” we wrote.

“Their debut EP was titled Should We Go Dance?, but it didn’t have to be worded as a question: the collection will undoubtedly have anyone moving. At their best, Blusher take listeners on a chaotic ride into the night, capturing in detail each tiny part, from getting ready with friends at home to having deep ‘n’ meaningful chats in the club bathroom in the early hours of the morning.”
