Bliss n Eso have kicked off the launch of their latest single “Lighthouse (feat. Jake Isaac)” with a sky-high performance on top of Sydney Tower Eye’s SKYWALK as part of the final episode of ABC’s The Sound.

Revealing that they would be performing their first new music since their album Off The Grid back in 2017, Bliss N Eso wrote on Twitter: “What up fam! Stoked to say we’ll be performing our brand new single ‘Lighthouse’ tomorrow night on @ABCTV for @TheSoundAU_, from a very special location. Turn up from 5:30pm AEST!”

The epic performance saw Bliss, Eso and DJ Izm, as well as crew members wearing harnesses as they were tethered to the building whilst also adhering to COVIDSafe guidelines.

“It’s a funny story actually, Eso and I came up to the Sydney Tower when we first made the group and wrote some rhymes. And now, however many years it is later, here we are shooting the first music video ever shot up here,” Bliss said.

“It was incredible to see the SKYWALK accommodating a performance of this scale. As an iconic Australian attraction, we are proud to have worked with Bliss n Eso and The Sound, which celebrates the best of the Australian music scene,” said Dave Boyd, General Manager of Sydney Tower Eye.

“It’s the first time we have hosted a production of this kind on the SKYWALK and we are definitely keen to explore more opportunities that allow us to showcase the attraction and the city in a new light,” he continued.

The final episode of the series, which was fronted by Recovery host Jane Gazzo and Double J Mornings host Zan Rowe, also featured performances from local legends such as Tones & I, Guy Sebastian, Bliss N Eso, Vika & Linda and more, alongside appearances from special guest co-hosts Molly Meldrum, Keith Urban and Jack Thompson.
