Due to overwhelming demand, according to promoter giant Live Nation, US pop-punk icons blink-182 have extended their Australian tour.
Adding dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, blink-182’s reunion as Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker extends the local leg of the band’s global tour from five dates to eight.
After forming 30 years ago, blink-182 have become one of the most beloved rock bands to emerge from the US. As The New York Times once wrote, “no punk band of the 1990s has been more influential than blink-182.”
And with DeLonge back on guitar duties for the first time since 2015, the “classic” blink-182 lineup ensured tickets for the forthcoming tour are selling out quickly.
The band also shared their new single “Edging” last Friday, October 14th, marking the first time in a decade that Hoppus, DeLonge, and Barker have worked in the studio together.
