Nearly a day after Isabella Ladera accused Beéle of leaking a sex video without her consent, the legal team for the Colombian singer, whose real name is Brandon de Jesús López Orozco, claimed that he “did not leak said material” nor “disseminate” it.
On Tuesday, López Orozco reposted a statement from his group of attorneys saying that they “categorically reject the circulation” of the video, and shared that the singer’s “artistic career and international prestige rule out any need or interest in acts of this nature.”
“We reiterate that this matter affects all parties. López Orozco is also a victim of the non-consensual exposure of his privacy,” the statement read in Spanish. “We reject all forms of violence and will continue to use legal avenues for the full defense of his rights.”
Reps for Ladera and López Orozco did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone‘s request for comment on López Orozco’s new statement.
In the statement, López Orozco’s legal team explained that they had started legal action in Colombia in the United States against “those responsible for the obtaining, distribution, hosting, indexing, or monetization” of the private sex video. The team also shared that they were reporting the incident to law enforcement in the United States formally, and that they are working to “identify those responsible.”
On Monday, Ladera shared a statement accusing López Orozco of purposefully leaking the video while she was in the process of “reconstruction” following their breakup in July 2024. She called the alleged behavior “one of the cruelest betrayals I’ve lived.”
“This act doesn’t just put my privacy at risk, it also goes against my dignity and has caused me immense pain to me and my family,” she wrote, describing the act as an example of violence against women. “The worst part has been receiving hate and judgment while the real person responsible remains silent.”

In her emotional statement, Ladera called López Orozco someone who “lied to me from the start” and “never tried to protect me,” claiming that he purposefully leaked the video while she was in the process of “reconstruction” following their breakup in July 2024.
