Fazerdaze, Lorde, and Stan Walker were among the big winners at the 2025 Aotearoa Music Awards.
Celebrating their 60th year in the country, the awards took place in Auckland tonight (May 29th). Stars including global pop superstar Lorde walked the red carpet, before the winners were announced inside the Viaduct Events Centre.
Lorde received the Single of the Year award for her zeitgeist-grabbing Charli XCX collaboration, “Girl, so confusing featuring Lorde”.
The main prize, Album of the Year, went to Fazerdaze for Soft Power, which also topped our Best New Zealand Albums of 2024 list. Fazerdaze also won Best Solo Artist on the night.
Walker, meanwhile, won multiple awards, including Best Māori Artist.
