Angus & Julia Stone are taking their new album Karaoke Bar on the road, with an Australian tour set for February and March 2027.

The five-time ARIA Award-winning siblings will launch the album’s world tour on home soil, beginning in Adelaide on February 13th before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Check out the full dates below.

Among the run is a hometown show at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on February 28th – a date Julia Stone told Rolling Stone AU/NZ she was particularly excited about.  “We were so pumped when we got the date,” she said during a recent interview. “We’ve done it once before and it was such a fun show, and we really wanted an outdoor venue for Sydney for this record.

“That is something I’m really looking forward to – hometown, Sydney Opera House. It’s going to be really fun.”

The duo previously played the Opera House Forecourt in 2018, and Stone said there was something uniquely special about returning to the iconic outdoor venue. “It doesn’t kind of matter if a storm comes through or it’s a beautiful day,” she said. “You just get this amazing Australian summer feeling.”

Tickets go on sale at 12pm on Friday, September 11th following a Frontier Members presale from 11am on Wednesday, September 9th. All times are local. Sign up for presale here.

The newly announced dates will mark the first opportunity for Australian fans to hear songs from Karaoke Bar live following the album’s release last week via Virgin Music. As Stone told Rolling Stone AU/NZ last week, their seventh studio album came together unexpectedly while the siblings were touring 2024’s Cape Forestier.

“We felt such a sense of joy and togetherness with the crowds and having people sing back songs across all of these years that means something different to everybody and their own lives,” Stone said.

Rather than immediately jumping into another album cycle, the pair took a proper break during a gap in their European touring schedule. While on holiday, there was no plan to make another Angus & Julia Stone record. Then, as Stone put it, “the songs started to come”.

Karaoke Bar arrives almost two decades after the pair broke through with their 2007 debut, A Book Like This, and follows 2024’s Cape Forestier. Their catalogue also includes the ARIA-winning Down the Way, home to triple j Hottest 100 winner “Big Jet Plane”, as well as Angus & Julia Stone and Snow.

The Australian tour follows the duo’s sold-out international run behind Cape Forestier, which included shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall, Paris’ L’Olympia and New York’s Town Hall.
