Currently in the midst of a US headline tour, Amyl and the Sniffers made a very special appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Ticking off yet another incredible feat this year, the Australian rock heavyweights took to the New York studio stage to perform “Tiny Bikini” from their third album, Cartoon Darkness, complete with singer Amy Taylor wearing a top made up of signature Aussie thongs.

Check out the full performance below.

Amyl and the Sniffers have been on a tear as of late. As well as being Rolling Stone AU/NZ‘s March cover stars, the Melbourne-formed outfit picked up two awards at this year’s Rolling Stone Awards – Best LP/EP and Best Live Act – picked up the coveted Song of the Year award for “U Should Not Be Doing That” at the APRA Awards last month and have just been nominated for three AIR Awards.

On top of that, the four-piece wowed crowds at Coachella this year and are set to take the stage Glastonbury next month.

In their cover story, Taylor and bandmates Bryce Wilson, Declan Mehrtens, and Gus Romer shared an under-the-bonnet exploration of their careers and the special glue that binds them. The foursome also posed for an exclusive shoot with Michelle Pitiris, the ARIA Award-winning music and fashion photographer.

“I want to make people proud. I want them to be like, ‘Fuck yeah, those guys did it. The music industry is dying and somehow those four fuckwits have done something good,’” Taylor told Rolling Stone AU/NZ earlier this year.

“What we’re doing is risky — you put yourself out there and be physically, emotionally, and spiritually vulnerable every time you do anything, because you’re in the public eye. If people do wanna bitch about us, that’s fine — as long as they’re bitching about us becoming successful.”
