Alex the Astronaut is set to kick off a local headline tour next month, performing in support of her latest single, “I Think You’re Great”.
Released last month, the track was co-produced by Ball Park Music’s Sam Cromack and Daniel Hanson and is focused on “the importance of checking in on each other, opening up conversations and supporting friends through thick and thin.”
Following on from last year’s “I Like to Dance”, Alex the Astronaut is undoubtedly on track for another massive year of stunning tunes. Now, ahead of a visit to the US and Canada this month, the critically-acclaimed artist has shared a run of local tour dates.
Kicking off in Hobart this April, the tour will visit Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, and Sydney, and will feature Alex the Astronaut showcasing her powerful discography of exceptional tunes. If you’re unable to make it along to any of these shows, Alex will be back in July, performing as part of the 20th anniversary Splendour in the Grass festival.
Tickets to these upcoming shows go on sale from 9am on Thursday, March 5th through Alex the Astronaut’s website.
